Student Leadership Trips

From Poland to Israel, a broader perspective for future leaders.

A speaker addresses delegation participants during an outdoor briefing.

From Poland through Israel to campus

Together With Israel brings student leaders to Poland and Israel to learn in the places where history happened and meet people living with its consequences today. They return to campus with a deeper grasp of the issues, more questions worth asking, and experiences they can speak about for themselves.

Start with history

In Poland, students engage with Jewish history and Holocaust remembrance through site visits, cultural education, and leadership seminars. The experience asks them to consider how history is remembered—and what responsibility comes with knowing it.

Encounter Israel for yourself

In Israel, briefings, conversations, innovation tours, and cultural experiences bring students into contact with perspectives they may have known only through news or debate. They have room to listen, question, and develop a fuller picture of the country and its people.

Bring the conversation back to campus

The trip does not end when students fly home. What they have seen and heard gives them a stronger foundation for discussions with classmates, campus groups, and their wider communities.

Our aim is to help students approach those conversations with knowledge, curiosity, and the confidence to speak from experience.

Students share what they took home

“As a student at UPENN it is an honor to be a part of Jewish students who are returning to Israel in an unprecedented historic mission.”

Sam Koffler

University of Pennsylvania

“After October 7th everything changed on US campus. I was preparing for a job interview and for the summer. Over a day we became activists defending our country.”

Andrew Stein

Columbia University

“This trip was absolutely amazing. I'm so thankful I had the opportunity to strengthen my knowledge. The high quality speakers and packed schedule is a testament to the professionalism of the program.”

Jason Diebner

University of Texas

“This trip inspired and strengthened me to go back on campus and combat antisemitism. It was very vital for me to hear testimonies first hand, and bear witness to October 7th atrocities.”

Noa Hanna

Virginia Tech

“We need to speak up against the horrors of October 7th. Truth exists and we need to fight for it. The IsraelAmbassadors mission to Israel gave me the leadership and confidence to do exactly this.”

Josh Shain

Columbia University

“Through attending pro-Israel conventions and now this leadership trip, I aim to gain the tools and inspiration to better promote pro-Israel messaging and create safe spaces for celebrating Israel.”

Romie Avivi Stuhl

University of Oregon

“When I return to Columbia University, where the environment has grown increasingly hostile, I aim to use this experience to educate and raise awareness.”

David Leder

Columbia University

“It's clear that the only way to combat the anti-Israel stance is through knowledge - knowledge that empowers all of us to stand up for ourselves and for Jewish people everywhere.”

Hollis Coker

Seattle University

“I will take back the experience of bearing witness to the atrocities committed by Hamas on October 7th, giving me the knowledge and conviction to disprove any deniers on the other side.”

Samuel Leschins

University of Florida

“As a Jew in the diaspora, I see Israel as the one place where we can control our safety, especially when faced with growing antisemitism.”

Isaac Babus

Lewis and Clark College

University of Western Ontario

“I came on this trip to better develop strong arguments for Israel and learn the most effective ways to bring them back to campus. This group felt like a think tank.”

Fisher Angrist

“This trip is unlike anything I've experienced. Hearing directly from residents, hostage families, IDF soldiers, and seeing places like Sderot with our own eyes, grounded everything we know in reality.”

Sharon Knafelman

UC Berkeley

“I've been to Israel before, but never like this. The raw truth, the first hand accounts, the stories of loss and strength, the access to people on the front lines, it made the conflict real and personal.”

Max Berger

Northeastern University

“I now feel better equipped with the tools, experiences, and evidence to return home and speak with confidence, not only to combat antisemitism, but also to share the reality of what we've seen and lived.”

Nathaniel Rotenberg

University of Colorado–Boulder

“With so much misinformation being spread and pressure to make Jewish visibility and support for Israel shameful, learning the truth firsthand matters now more than ever.”

Sam May

University of Texas

“As Jews, we have not only the right but the responsibility to defend our people and our homeland, and this Israel advocacy mission is equipping me to do exactly that, even from my small college campus in the middle of Pennsylvania.”
